March 3, 2023Lenten Mission 2023: Encountering the Living God.
Our Parish Mission will begin this weekend March 4 & 5. Shannon Wimp will lead us in our reflection on encountering the Living God. She will talk at all the Masses. The Mission will continue on Monday and Tuesday, 3/6 & 3/7 at 7:00 PM in church. Shannon Wimp works as Parish Vitality Coordinator for the Archdiocese of Chicago.
A proud wife and mother of four, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from the University of Notre Dame and a Master's Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Shannon is the co-host of the Black Catholic podcast Plaid Skirts and Basic Black and co-author of the book Fat Luther, Slim Pickin’s: A Black Catholic Celebration of Faith, Tradition, and Diversity from Ave Maria Press.
