And the family established a scholarship in her and Guido’s name at Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights, IL, where Joe and Mike graduated. Tina met Guido when she was pretty young but old enough to date. Tina’s mother was very protective. Her family included three half-brothers, but she was the only girl. Tina’s favorite story goes something like this. Her mom was so protective that she would go on dates with Tina and Guido. They would go to the movies, and Tina’s mom would join them. Tina marvels today at the patience Guido had to have to date her.
