Sunday, February 19th after 10:30am Mass
Palms traditionally are burned for ashes marking the beginning of Lent. We will burn the palms in front of church after the 10:30am Mass this Sunday, February 19th. Bring the palms that you received last Palm Sunday to church and place them in the basket provided in the back of the church. Please remove any staples from your palms.
The formula for ashes in the Roman Missal is “Repent, and believe in the Gospel,” or “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.
