The next Food Drive for the Catholic Charities Food Pantry will be Saturday, December 17, 9 a.m.—11 a.m., north parking lot, Saint John Neumann Parish. The pantry routinely serves 100-150 families a week and our generosity is greatly appreciated. Due to supplies received from other sources, some items are abundant and not really needed at this time. NEEDED:
·Canned peaches and pineapple (and other fruits) ·Pasta ·Pasta Sauce ·Pasta side dishes ·Cereal ·Canned meat (tuna, chicken…) ·Peanut Butter and Jelly ·Rice and rice sides ·Canned beans and bean meal pouches ·Potato side dishes ·Coffee ·Condiments (Ketchup, Salad Dressing…) ·Snack foods ·Paper products As always, check or cash can be given to volunteers. Please make checks payable to Catholic Charities and include “St. Irenaeus Food Pantry” in the memo line. or cash can also be given to volunteers at the collection. $25 gift cards for Meier, Target or Walmart also appreciated. Food is distributed each week on Monday mornings (except holidays) and Thursday afternoon and is available to all people who come to the pantry at St. Irenaeus in Park Forest.
